The Thorn Milwaukee reviews
Short Show/30 minute act for $80? Really!
Todd Glass, the opening act, had great delivery and well-written material. The show was extremely short. The Thorn popped on stage dressed like he just got done working in the yard with clothes that were too tight, looking like one would save them for housework. He seemed off that night with poorly executed delivery and some old material. The show was supposed to start at 7 pm but did not open until 7:25. The warm-up comic was on stage for 30 minutes, and The Thorn only performed for 30 minutes in an hour-long show. People paid $80 for a half-hour comic show from The Thorn. We have been to many headline comics and usually, at this price and level of production, they have an hour of material. Gaffigan, don't be cheap on your time, people paid a premium to see you and a 30-minute show wasn't worth the admission. We got home and the babysitter said wow, that was a fast show.
